CX-8408 Agricultural Silicone Adjuvant

Trancy CX-8408 agricultural silicone adjuvant is a super spreading surfactant and modified trisiloxane, can lower the surface tension of spray solutions and significantly improve spray coverage. It offers rapid spreading and wetting for agrochemicals, promotes uptake of agrochemicals, and makes sprayed agricultural chemicals not easily washed down. Therefore it increases the effectiveness of agrochemicals, reduces volume of agrochemicals and saves labor, water and medicine, and lowers agrochemical residue and pollution. It may be used as a formulation ingredient in pesticide products, or as a tank-mix adjuvant for foliar applied chemicals.

General Conditions for Use of Agricultural Silicone Adjuvant

CX-8408 agricultural silicone adjuvant may be used as a component in agrochemical formulations. Optimum performance is achieved by buffering the formulation to pH 6.5 to 7.5, although organosilicone surfactants are subject to hydrolysis under acidic or basic conditions. Besides, CX-8408 agricultural silicone adjuvant should be used at a concentration from 0.5% to 8%, based on the total formulation. And it is better used within 24 hours of preparation.

Application Guide

CX-8408 agricultural silicone adjuvant should be used 5g in per 20kg of spray solution, and mixed them thoroughly. If it needs to promote uptake of agrochemicals, enhance the performance of agrochemicals or lower the amount of spray solution further, please increase the usage level properly. In general, the use rates are as follows:

When using, first dissolve the agrochemical with 80% water thoroughly, add CX-8408 agricultural silicone adjuvant, then add water to 100% and mix them evenly. It is recommended that the amount of water should be reduced to 1/2 or 2/3 of its normal level, the average unit usage of agrochemical should also be reduced to 70-80% of the normal level. The smaller aperture nozzle, the quicker spray speed.
